Evicting a Tenant in Santa Clarita and Valencia – Don’t Wait!

I am always surprised (though I guess I shouldn’t be anymore) when a landlord contacts me to evict their tenant and then tells me that their tenant hasn’t paid rent for many months!  My first question to the landlord is why did the Santa Clarita landlord wait so many months before beginning the Valencia eviction process, and the answer is usually because the landlord was trying to work with the tenant to come up with a solution.

My advice to all Valencia landlords is to not wait to begin the Santa Clarita eviction.  Start now.  The lender would not be lenient with the mortgagee, so why should the landlord wait 3 months, 6 months, or even longer before beginning the Valencia eviction process?  The bottom line is, the landlord is probably not going to recover the unpaid rent.  The longer the Santa Clarita landlord waits to begin the eviction and regain possession of the property, the more money the landlord will lose.  Don’t wait, begin the Valencia eviction process today!
