No. The plan includes up to 10 emails or 1 hour of attorney time per month. Unused emails do not carry over to the following month.
The monthly plan covers email-based legal guidance only. If you need full representation for an eviction, we’ll talk and determine if we can assist you. Note, however, that we do not provide representation when there are any local tenant protections or rent control in effect. We’ll always let you know upfront if something falls outside the plan before doing any additional work.
Yes, you can ask questions about rent-controlled properties in the city of LA or in unincorporated parts of LA county. Keep in mind that our form templates are not designed for rent-controlled or locally regulated tenancies — but the email Q&A service covers landlord-tenant questions broadly, including questions about properties subject to local tenant protections in LA.

- Cancel any time after the initial 3 month term by simply emailing us.
- Email only — up to 10 emails or 1 hour of attorney time per month, whichever comes first. Phone calls are not included in the plan.
- Forms discount applies at 25% off the rate in effect at the time you request the form(s).
- Attorney availability during normal business hours. We normally respond the same day that we receive your email.
